Hey there, I'm Emily!
 I am a huge nerd with lots of random 
loves: I love tea, books, photography, chocolate, Jesus, anything vintage, and one very special guy, but baking is something that I've always loved. I'm constantly scribbling down recipes or ideas for a new food combination. I've always wanted to start a blog, so here it is! I'm still in school going for a degree in molecular and cell biology which is a far cry from culinary, but baking is my outlet from the stress that school brings, and this blog will not only provide me with a way to organize my recipes, but will also let 
me share my ideas with people I don't even 
know; I think that's pretty cool. 

Something that I'm sure you will pick up on as you read is that a lot of my early recipes were  dairy free, because my amazing boyfriend used to be allergic to both. Luckily he is not anymore, so my latest recipes have not had to accommodate that need. 

I have recently also started up my own little catering business, baking the desserts you see here, as well as many others for parties, weddings, showers, or any other reason you could think of! If you would like to have me cater your next event, please contact me by email {see contact page}.

I would also like to say that all recipes and pictures on this blog are my own original work unless otherwise stated. If you have a baking blog and would like to use one of my recipes on it, I do ask that you cite it as being mine, as well as providing a link to my original recipe. Plagiarism is not cool bro, k? K.
